Celebrating 25 Years of Nelson County Community Fund
Event Details
Join us on Saturday November 14, 2026 for a magical evening at the Silver Starlight Opportunity Ball fundraiser event celebrating the 25th anniversary of Nelson County Community Fund (NCCF). This gala will feature a three-course dinner, wine, music, dancing, as well as a live and silent auction.
Why it Matters
This event raises critical funds for NCCF’s important work to support food access, housing security, education, youth development, and health initiatives across Nelson County. Since 2000, Nelson County Community Fund (NCCF) has provided more than $2.4 million in grants to local nonprofits, schools, and human service organizations. - A silent auction featuring regional experiences
Location & Timing
The ball will take place Saturday, November 14, 2026 at the breathtaking Veritas Vineyards and Winery. The gala runs from 6:30pm until 11:45pm.

Tickets
All tickets include hors d’oeuvres, three course meal, and unlimited wine. Tickets are available from July 24 at 10am until October 31 at 11:55pm.
- Early bird tickets at $225 per person will be available until August 31
- Standard tickets at $250 per person
- VIP tickets at $350 per person (includes early entry to the silent auction and access to the VIP lounge)
Benefactor ticket packages are available for those who want to get even more out of the evening and provide a great level of financial support to NCCF.
Bourbon & Cigar Add-On
Available for an additional $45 per person. Only a limited number of tickets are avaibale for this. The add-on runs from 10pm until end of the event. It includes two pours of select specialty bourbons (Virginia Distillery Company’s First Cut Cigar Blend Single Malt and Booker’s Bourbon) and one cigar to enjoy on the brick patio or around the fire pits. In case of rain the bourbon event will be moved to the covered porch where cigar smoking is not allowed. Should this happen the cigars will be packaged to take home.
